All someone has to do is be patient with her. After a while she will open up and let you in. Friends will not be made easily because of how shy she is, but she is always friendly! Sophie happens to be more books smart then people smart. Even so, tries her best to be kind to everyone and everything. Even though she is smart, Sophie suffers from language barrier issues and is quite afraid of people and what they are saying. She isn't as good at Japanese as she wishes she was, but English and French are easily spoken and written. Sophie is a pretty warm and inviting person and will accommodate herself to fit the requirements of that particular friendship. For the most part though, she tries to be a comforting and loving person. She is however pretty naive thinking that everyone is just as sweet and as nice as her, therefore she often mistakes friendships with users. Ouran being a new place and all, and knowing pretty much nothing about the student body of their connections will be even more vulnerable. In short, Sophie could really use someone or a few people, who understood how everything worked at Ouran and would look out for her. Her not talking back when spoken to might piss some people off, but it is always unintentional. Her nervousness or tendency to be frightened could annoy people. People are bound to just not like her for whatever reason that they can come up with. (And please do come up with them!) Sophie and conflicts do not go well together. She pretty much just takes everything that is thrown her way and cries it all out later when no one is around. In fact, her being bullied might have been the reason why she became so shy and quiet. (I personally love confrontation threads they are so much fun to do and I have never done one where the character is shy and not able to talk.) (I’m not saying it can’t be done…) This comes back to being afraid, she is pretty much afraid of everything in sight, she is a worry wart. She would make a good girlfriend though, once she opened up. It could also make her worry even more than normal, she would worry about them, about the relationship, their safety when they weren’t around, he own heart and if they were using her. It would be really interesting to see how she would handle the relationship of being in love. She of course would have at least a few crushes, which would really be adorable. (I’m up to anything for this section because I never give it much thought, because I want it to be as much as my ideas and it is that of the other persons.) Sophie will most likely have many classmates and co-workers from both her father’s business and her grandfather business. Her mother had a younger sister and therefore Sophie has some cousins. Other than those people, there won’t be many others in her life, but as always if you can think of something I am open to it! [/style] |
