>▍APPEARANCE
[td][atrb=width,300px]
>▍DESCRIPTION: Sophie, being from America, has that typical American look about her. She has the long blond hair, slender frame and sweet smile. Sophie’s height is around 5'3", she hates being short. Her clothing style isn’t the normal French fashions that many of her peers back home wear, but those she makes herself or clothing from department stores. Her face is nothing special or extraordinary. She is the spitting image of her deceased mother. (Her father tells her so all of the time.) Ever since she has moved to Japan she has tried to follow the ‘commoner’ dress code when not at school.

>▍OVERALL PERSONALITY: Sophie is silent but really quite sweet. She is quite smart but mainly keeps to herself. Though, it isn’t because she has a superiority complex or anything like that, she simply just shy as shy can be. In public she doesn’t really show any trace of a positive emotion, she is almost always frightened. Though there is a chance when she is forced to talk to people, for example when there is a group project, she will make an effort to be nice. Over all she is just fairly silent and worried about what everyone around her is thinking. Sophie can be found alone most of the time walking around or doing her homework. She barely speaks Japanese, but speaks French and English fluently. Sophie makes an effort to be nice to people and get to know them, but it is difficult when she has troubles with the language. (Though she does know simple and important phrases).

>▍HISTORY
[td][atrb=width,300px]
>▍OVERALL HISTORY: Sophie’s parents were happy with their family situation as it was before she came into the world. In fact Sophie was a surprise baby, not planned what-so-ever. Not that it mattered much, both of her parent’s families had enough money to support another child. Once the couple had found out they were with another child they were delighted. Yumi, her mother was overly joyed and hoped for a girl, seeing as they already had a boy who was about 3 years old at the time. Alexander on the other hand wanted another boy, but the couple really didn’t fight much over petty things like that.
Sophie was born and everyone, her older brother included, was excited that she had finally arrived. Her childhood was pretty typical of a rich American family. It was full of cars, servants, good food, not having to lift a finger and not a heavy presence of parents. Her mother went back to work after Sophie turned two. Even so she didn’t grow the normal way a rich child would. She staid quiet, and reserved, not at all loud or cocky.
In her home life everything was pretty normal. Her father and mother both worked for her father’s medical company, but were still involved with some people over in Japan, where her grandfather ran a large restaurant chain. Sophie couldn’t wait to go to school to learn about all the things her parents would talk about on the phone and during the dinners that they were actually there, but by the time she turned fifteen things had changed. Sophie had been attending an elite level boarding school, and she no longer wanted to be away from her family. Though, her older brother had the opposite feelings and began to change first become more rude and mean then before and second of all had gone missing. He and his friends had decided for his eighteenth birthday that they would spend a night in a graveyard in the wrong side of town. It was just before Christmas break.
She had gone back home and on Christmas night someone had knocked at the door. It was her brother, but he didn’t really look like him. Something had certainly changed, he wasn’t himself, not at all. He killed their mother and attempted to kill Sophie, but her father sent him running out of the house when he pulled out his gun. This brought Sophie and her father closer together and wedged a block between her and her brother.
Sophie went back to school at the same time as everyone else and continued on her schooling, but she was even more closed in and quiet and worried then before. It wasn’t long before her father had decided to remarry. The women he married really did not like Sophie and Sophie wasn’t too pleased with her new stepmother either. Her grandfather had become ill and her father was going to go and visit him and help with the business, seeing as the heir was supposed to be his dearly departed wife, but Sophie offered to go instead.
She was to help him with running the business, which she didn’t mind, at all. It seemed like fun and the few times she had met her grandfather, they had gotten along. Her first few weeks with him she had not gone to school, she wanted to settle in. So she decided to talk a walk around and get to know the area, but that was when the trouble happened. She didn’t know how, but there were men around her, big men, pushing her, and clearly trying to mug her. Being the person she is, she was defenceless against them, but some boy had decided to help her.
Sophie didn’t know what she would have done if that boy didn’t interfere. She would have been pretty much dead, or badly beaten. Sophie had never gotten his name, and had never seen him again after that. She would be starting at Ouran Academy soon though, and perhaps someone could help her find him.

>▍ROLEPLAY
[td][atrb=width,300px]
>▍SAMPLE:Sophie stood in the airport waiting for the limo her grandfather had sent for her. She was really thankful for all he had done for her. Given her a room, an allowance (on top of the one her father was sending her), transportation to and from school, and last but not least a connection to get into the school she wanted to attend. The blond had read about it online, well her father had translated it for her, and she fell in love with it.
She saw the limo pull up and could only think to herself that this was starting anew, getting far away from her brother and her stepmother as she possibly could. She gulped and waved at the driver who got out of the vehicle and grabbed her suit cases to put them away. He then opened her door and she slid in. Why am I so nervous? I really shouldn’t be, they will like me. My grandfather will look out for me the best he possible could in his condition. I have nothing to worry about… nothing at all. She took a deep breath in before she buckled up her seat belt and relaxed into the soft leather of the limo. I will be fine.
